Weather Comment
Today is shaping up to be a banger, and we’re opening First Tracks for the season! At 5:30am we have lights winds and clear, starry skies overhead. We are well above the low cloud on the Canterbury Plains this morning. Our groomed trails and parks are will start the day in mint condition and snowmaking will providing powdery turns down the gunlines for as long as conditions allow. Keep your eyes peeled for firm patches of snow developing in high traffic areas later in the day. Plenty of off-piste action is expected today subject to early morning ski patrol assessments: please check terrain status at the Summit unload before heading out.
Information
