Road info

All vehicles must carry chains as road surface conditions can change quickly due to traffic volumes and/or weather conditions. Access road opening is expected between 6:30am and 6:45am, once staff transport has arrived on the mountain. If you see a line of traffic forming behind you, please pull to the side to allow faster vehicles past. Speed limit on the access road is 40km/h – maintain 2-way access at all time.

It’s 4pm and Mt Hutt is now closed for the day.  Tomorrow’s weather forecast according to MetService.com is: Fine with morning frosts. High cloud developing towards evening. Light winds, westerlies developing in the afternoon.We've got some exciting things on tomorrow including demos from some great brands, the Aperol bar and The SSNZ Rail Jam Rampage.Tomorrow morning, we will assess the current conditions and we will update this report by 5:30am.We are really looking forward to seeing you soon.
