Opening at approximately 9:15am, as the dozer is clearing the Summer Road ready to let everyone up - please radio from Bottom Hut this morning before coming in to check for chain requirements and road conditions. Summer Road is Open for 4x4 only with chains - give us a radio from the container if you want to use it or walk on up.
Information
Friday September 19th - We are OPEN. We got 4cm out of then NW yesterday, and another 5cm from the S last night, and now its going to be a clear sunny day, get on up here for smooth skiing. Only 10 guests skied yesterday so the field is pretty much untracked! The road will be delayed and Open at approximately 9:15am - please radio from Bottom Hut for Updates. Unlike NZ Ski, we accept cash at all terminals, and you can drive by yourself to our top carpark. Playground of the gods - Home of Freeride, the occasional rubber duck and the Sloppy Coffee'
