Please be aware our road is not maintained so drive to the conditions and watch out for black ice. When the road is back open, on-site construction with heavy machinery will be operating up and down the road. ALWAYS keep left and drive with caution, check weather forecast before ascending the road and drive to conditions. A 50km/hr speed limit remains in place year-round. NO public vehicles, including push bikes, E-bikes or motorbikes are permitted beyond the base lodge.

We are in full preparation mode getting ready for an epic 2024 season! We're stoked to welcome everyone back in less than a month, with our opening day on the 15TH OF JUNE. Please be aware that while the Shadow Basin project is ongoing it is still a construction site with hazards, for your safety please stay out of the area. Kia Kaha - stay safe and see you soon!
