Anyone keen on a two-day trip? I'll be going up to Mt Hutt tomorrow morning(Tuesday 28th), getting accommodation (Airbnb/pub) for tomorrow night in Methven, back up Mt Hutt Wednesday, and back to Chch Wednesday night. Have up to 3 spare seats, have chains, leaving from Richmond. Happy to pick anyone up for a one way lift also.

Self-fit chain hire is available from Chain Bay 1. Drivers of vehicles who breach our chain call and invariably require assistance from our road patrol team will be charged a $800 fee. All other vehicles must carry chains as road surface conditions can change quickly due to traffic volumes and/or weather conditions. If you see a line of traffic forming behind you, please pull to the side to allow faster vehicles past. Speed limit on the access road is 40km/h – maintain 2-way access at all time.
