Information
Rinse and Repeat is the theme of the day. Conditions have stayed cold overnight and the snow remains in fantastic condition. Currently temps are around freezing, skies are clear with light W developing throughout the day. We are progressively opening more terrain - Back Run, High and Low Traverse, Frozen Waves are now all open. For hiking Sphinx and Back Ridge have a boot pack that resembles HW73. If you are interest in venturing into any of our closed terrain please have a talk with Patrol. Today we welcome those attending the day 1 of the Avalanche Skills Course. A great addition to week one of this years calendar. Chef Lloyd is cooking up magical meals at breakfast and dinner so if you are yet to experience his magic - book in for lunch! All tows are spinning however Access is open for access only - egress will be via summer road. Chains are required on 2WD from Coach Croner. Some slick spots from Whisky Creek to Bottom Hut so take care. Radio up from Bottom Hut requesting "Road Cone" for the latest roading conditions. Please be aware and respectful of farm traffic through Glenthorne Station.
