Chains on all vehicles today - 2WD from Simpsons Ridge, 4x4 from the container. All vehicles can drive to the container (Main Carpark). 4x4 with chains can use the Summer Road to reach the Main Tow & Learners Area - please radio up from the Container first and don't forget to grab a towbelt on the way!

Sunday August 31st - We are Open! Things are looking up we've got another shot of about 7cm snowfall as the Derek exited the Schnapps Hut last night, much the terror of a group of ladies in the hot tub. All jokes the skiing is good... honestly for this season maybe even great? Variable? Sure. Enjoyable? You bet. Really, really good in a few spots? Of heck yeah. Expect some snow, clouds, wind and periods of sun throughout the day. Jeremy Jones says "Hike-To terrain is firing" (Yes real quote... well paraphrased). The Summmer Rd will be open at 9am for 4WD please carry chains. No Brazilian strip on our towline here, fairly easy skiing to and from the carpark. If you're not sick of hearing about it, there are still a few sharks left to get to Main Tow, but no lifegaurds are on duty its fairly low hazard for your bases.
