Weather Comment
After a very promising start to the day, the winds have ramped up significantly over the last hour and are now averaging over 120km/h at the summit with gusts in excess of 150km/h. Unfortunately, our updated forecast this morning does not indicate any substantive down trend until around 8pm tonight so we have little choice but to remain closed today. We understand this decision will be very frustrating for many but it is arguably more frustrating waiting in our cafe all day and hoping for the lifts to open! On a more positive note, we have received 2-3cm of new snow and conditions look to improve markedly as we head into Monday. Please note that our SIGMA pop-up has been rescheduled to Monday - now taking place at our Aperol Ice Bar from 12pm.
