We are now parking at Rakaia Saddle and offering a free shuttle bus to our base area. Chains carried. Keep to the left to main 2-way access and observe the 40km/h speed limit. If you have a line of cars forming behind you, please pull over to allow faster vehicles to pass safely.
Weather Comment
We’re open, and it’s shaping up to be another stellar day in the mountains! We’ve got unlimited views, super-cold conditions making for some epic on-trail grooming, and best of all, the forecast is calling for sunshine all day. Off-piste will be highly variable, with powder pockets in the hollows but mostly firmer, pre-storm snow in exposed areas. Please check the signage at the summit unload for the latest off-piste and terrain park status and respect all closures. And don’t forget your helmet! A big welcome to all the athletes from around the globe here for the final day of the Australia New Zealand Cup ski racing on Jonny Doles, we wish you the very best.
