Solo skier working in Ashburton for 5 weeks. Booked a night at Broken River and would love to get a lift and hopefully meet some ski buddies! Naturally I'm happy to pitch in for petrol and can bring snacks!

Good Morning - Broken River will be CLOSED today. With temperatures rising to a high of 3 degrees, high freezing levels, and more rainfall, we feel that it is best to close today to preserve the snowpack. Winds up to 70km are expected today, along with increasing rain and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures look to be cooling down throughout the rest of the week starting tomorrow, with potential for some snow accumulation. We hope that the cooler weather will be a welcome change.
