Information

We have high clouds to start the morning and are expecting the sun to come out for another bluebird day. The snow is a bit firm to start the morning and we expect our off-piste terrain to open once it has softened up a little. Our parks crew is hard at working getting all parks ready for the day, until then there is a PVC pipe set up at the bottom of Highway 72.It's shaping up to another great spring day at Mt Hutt with all-day sunshine and mild temps - so don't forget your sunscreen and sunnies! The snow surface both on and off the groomed trails will start off firm and fast and then soften as the day warms up. Despite the sunshine, the wind will have a cooling affect so it might take a bit longer for the snow to soften on the upper mountain today. With just 6 days of the season remaining, we still have heaps of off-piste terrain that will open as the snow releases - check signage at the summit unload or our snow report for the latest status of our expert and extreme zones. Please ski and ride to your ability level and always wear a helmet. Please note that Opuke Kai has now closed for the season. We look forward to seeing you all very soon.
